The Sacred Valley is one of the few places where the cosmological and the agricultural coexist in the same landscape. The Incas built their terraces and their temples from the same stone, aligned with the same stars. Walking through this valley — willing to stop, to ask, to be taught — is to understand something about land and time that no museum can replicate.

We have worked in Peru for over a decade. The relationships that make our itinerary possible — with Q’ero weavers, with a paqo who performs despacho ceremonies in the Chinchero highlands — have been tended carefully over years, not assembled for a brochure.
